It's easy to get into a rut, especially when it comes to our personal lives. Sometimes we need a little push to get out of our funk and improve our day-to-day routine. That's where these 16 tips come in handy. From waking up earlier to investing in your relationships, these habits will change your life for the better if you stick with them.


Your daily habits can amount to big change in your life. Don't underestimate the power of small actions repeated daily overtime. You may not notice it day by day but over month or years you'll see the difference.


Here are some habits you can implement into your routine to help you live a happier and healthier life.


1- Wake up and go to bed at a set time every day


Setting a sleep schedule might seem like an impossible task, but it’s actually one of the simplest ways to get better sleep. Going to bed and waking up at the same time every day helps to regulate your body’s natural sleep rhythm.


Waking up at the same time every day also helps to get your body into a routine. When you have a set time to wake up, your body will start to produce energy at that time, making it easier to get out of bed in the morning.


It’s also important to make sure you get enough sleep. Most people need around eight hours of sleep per night.


2- Drink plenty of water


The body constantly loses water throughout the day, . To prevent dehydration, you need to get plenty of water every day. There's so many reason why you should drink much water : It helps you Increase energy and relieve fatigue and also keep your skin hydrated, fresh and smooth. It's the best anti-aging treatment ever.


The quantity of water you should drink varies between 2 and 3 litter. One way to drink more water is to keep water next to you all time so you will have the habit of sipping water throughout the day.


3- Stretch and move your body


Make it a goal to move more throughout the day. Stretching and moving your body has many benefits. It can help improve your flexibility, range of motion, and circulation.


It can also help reduce stress, tension headaches, and fatigue. Taking a few minutes to stretch and move your body every day can make a big difference in your overall health and well-being.


So why not give it a try?


There are a lot of easy ways to move and stretch your body throughout the day. You can do some basic stretches when you wake up in the morning, take a brisk walk during your lunch break, and do some simple yoga poses before bed.


Additionally, you can make a conscious effort to move more often throughout the day by taking the stairs instead of the elevator, parking further away from your destination, and walking or biking to errands instead of driving.


And, of course, you can always add in a more formal workout routine a few times per week to really get your body moving.

That equals 150 days throughout a lifetime! Just think of what you could do with 150 additional days!


Don't leave anything unassigned. Give everything a place and stick to that position. You won't be fooling around looking for something when you know where you're used to put it and it is still here.

Inactivity is a silent killer. You should always be seeking out new ways to expand your mind. It will provide your brain something to think about and you will gain some more experiences, get to know other people and have a better idea about life.


And so you'll have something to talk about, making your life more interesting by challenging your mind. Read books, practice speaking foreign language, learn a choreography or take music lessons...Whatever excites you the most.

Technology can be a wonderful tool for improving yourself but mindless screen time can have a negative effect so make it a habit to limit your screen time.


Sometimes it can seem like the world revolves around our screens and the time we spend on social media. You don't have to give up your social media for lent, you can just set some limits for yourself!


When you think about it, setting limits is a great way to improve your life. It's fairly easy to make habits into positive ones, but stopping a negative habit can be tricky. So why not start with a positive one?


Here are a few tips I've picked up to help you establish a good habit of limiting your screen time.


-Take a few extra minutes every day to look away from your phone, computer, and other devices.


-Take care of your eyes, pay attention to how long you spend looking at your screens and how often you use them for reading.



-Make a firm rule about no screen time after a certain time at night and stick to it.


If you can manage that, you'll feel a lot better and never feel like you're in trouble with yourself or others.



9-finish things that are worth and let go of things that aren't


In today's society, it's all too easy to get caught up in the rat race and try to do everything at once. We often take on more than we can handle and then end up feeling overwhelmed and stressed out. This is why it's so important to learn how to prioritize and focus on what's really important.


When we finish things that are worth doing, we can feel a sense of accomplishment and pride. We also feel better about ourselves and our abilities. On the other hand, when we let go of things that aren't worth doing, we can feel a sense of relief and freedom. We can also focus our energy on things that are more important and meaningful to us.

Don't forget that an action must be repeated daily before it becomes an habit. It is said that it takes 21 days to start an habit. But the most important booster is to be consistent.
